The Golden Buccaneers Alumni Association



A Golden Buccaneer’s Alumni Association will be formed in the spring of 2004. Its purpose will be to carry on the traditions of the corps, to preserve its history and conserve its memorabilia. But most importantly The Association will provide a friendly and consistent networking resource for all past corps members and their families.



We are planning an inaugural meeting of The Association for late April or early May of 2004. That meeting will be mostly organizational in nature. But soon thereafter a Buccaneer corps reunion, the first one since 1983, will be on the table as a project for late this year or early 2005.

This is indeed good news and long overdue. I've been involved with starting up the NY Skyliners Alumni Assoc as well as the Bpt. PAL's and will share all I've learned through the years ... most important first task ... build a good, accurate mailing/phone list ... look forward to the startup meetings ...
