We are planning a 5 – 7 day trip for the PAL Buccaneers to Walt Disney World. The trip will take place during the first winter school vacation (February) of 2007. The purpose of the trip is to broaden the performing and travel experience of the corps and to provide a major incentive for qualitative and quantitative improvements, development and member recruitment, over the next 12 months.

We anticipate our group will comprise 40 – 50 corps members and 15 – 30 Chaperones, parents, and staff. The cost of the trip is expected to be approximately $1000 per person including airfare and 5 days at Walt Disney World resort. Corps member’s expenses will be fully paid by the corps. Working chaperones and working staff will be offered a substantially discounted travel package.

If the corps is ready, we may decide to submit an audition DVD to Walt Disney World in October 2006. If qualified based on the audition DVD we submit, the corps would then actually perform in one of the Walt Disney World theme parks during their visit. But in any case, we will arrange for at least two performances for the Buccaneers in the Orlando area during the trip.

In addition to the trip to WDW in early 2007, we are also planning a performance trip to the Washington, DC / Williamsburg, VA area for summer 2006.

We encourage friends of the corps to spread the good news about the PAL Buccaneers and this exciting opportunity for growth through performance and travel. The corps is recruiting new members at this time and we welcome visitors to observe our practices on Wednesday evenings and Saturday afternoons.
