Greetings Buccaneers!
Thank you for supporting the Park City Pride reunion event. The response has been very gratifying and remarkable for we Buccaneers considering we had no organized alumni association before this event. That's a tribute to the power and quality of this web site and the good work of Bill and Cliff in stimulating the interest and a sounding board for ideas.
However, there is still a friendly competition underway between our beloved cross town rivals, the PAL, and the Buccaneers. Which corps will have more participants in the parade? That is the question.    Right now the numbers are remarkably balanced. But PAL is one or two ahead, mostly because of the number of drummers they've enrolled.
So...let's get going at the open house on Sunday! Convince anybody you know who has not enrolled to do so now. This is a wonderful opportunity to recreate and enjoy the fellowship of years past, not just this winter and spring, but for years to come.
Let's get every member we can find to "join the parade!" And let's network like crazy these next few weeks, the final days of this enrollment campaign, to get them signed up and participating. We can dominate this event with our numbers and our talent, not so we can brag or gloat or anything like that, but simply to demonstrate the power of our informal organization and the camaraderie that made the Buccaneers the corps it was and still is so many years later.
